Mode: Photo / Video / Photo + Video Set what you want the camera to take when triggered. When in ‘Photo + Video’ mode, the camera takes photos before a video. PIR Interval: 30 secs, ranges 5secs to 60mins The time the camera will ‘wait’ between triggers.
Page 17
Timelapse: Off / On When ‘On’, the camera will automatically take photos/videos on the selected time interval, regardless of whether the PIR sensor has detected an animal or not. This is useful for monitoring cold blooded animals like reptiles, construction projects or plant growth. NOTE: If Timelapse mode is active, the camera will not trigger via the PIR sensor.

Low Battery at Night: No Shutting No IR LED / These settings kick in when the solar and (if present) AA batteries are low. No shutting means the camera will stop taking photos / videos at night. No IR LED means the camera will trigger at night, but not turn on the IR LEDs, to conserve power.

BATTERY NOT LASTING AS EXPECTED The settings have a big impact on battery life, as well as how active the camera is. Video uses much more power than photo mode. Shorter video length and longer PIR Intervals will improve battery life. If the camera is very active, the solar panel may not be able to charge up the internal battery in time, especially in darker conditions / colder...

THE SOLAR PANEL ISN’T CHARGING Please gently clean the solar panel with a damp cloth to remove any dust and dirt. The charging temperature is between 0°C and 50°C. The sunlight intensity, time exposed to sunlight, and ambient temperature all affect the charging efficiency.
