PTX1xxR NFC Evaluation Software Installation Manual 1. Installation Notes The software release package is distributed as a .zip archive file. To extract the content of the package, open the Windows explorer, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract All” from the list. In the pop-up window, press the “Extract”... - Page 3 PTX1xxR NFC Evaluation Software Installation Manual 3. Click on the "More info" text (see previous image) so that all the content of the Windows Explorer becomes visible. Click on the Run anyway button to start the installer. 4. In the event a previous version of the application is installed on your system, it may be required to uninstall that version first.

You might optionally exclude the file association feature from the installation by checking the "File Type Associations" checkbox. PTX1xxR NFC Evaluation Software Installation Manual 2. FTDI Installation (automatic/manual) In order to access evaluation board functionality, a corresponding FTDI driver must be installed. Normally, Windows downloads and installs it automatically, but there might be a case where the Windows Update server is not available and the driver cannot be installed automatically during the first time the device gets connected. -
