  • Page 5 Introduction This manual provides instructions on installing your new TapeStor Travan 20GB tape drive. Two sets of drive installation instructions are provided: one for ATAPI drives and another for SCSI drives. This manual also describes how to operate your tape drive and how to care for the tape drive and cartridges.

  • Page 31 Chapter 5 Troubleshooting Installation Troubleshooting If, after installing the Travan 20GB drive, your computer does not recognize your tape drive or CD-ROM: • Make sure all cables are attached firmly. • Make sure you have installed and configured your backup software properly.
