I cannot install the maps
My GPS receiver has asked me
for a passkey to connect
• Check that your Pocket PC is
connected via Microsoft ActiveSync
with your Desktop.
• Check that the Navigation System is
installed on the Pocket PC. (There
should be an icon in the Start>
Programs menu).
• Perform a soft reset on your Pocket PC
before trying to install any maps.
(Refer to your Pocket PC User's Guide
for details. All data and settings are
retained.)
• Check that the Navigation System is
not running. From the Start menu
select Settings > System > Memory
>Running Programs > Nav System >
Stop.
• Verify that there is sufficient memory
in your selected target location.
• Verify that the correct CD is inserted
in your CD drive.
The GPS receiver has a default passkey of
2003.
The Bluetooth Manager may be set to
require a passkey. To check:
• Tap on the Bluetooth icon and then
tap Bluetooth Settings.
• Tap the right arrow key at the bottom
of the screen to the Serial Port tab.
• Check that the Authentication
(Passkey) required check box is
unchecked.
