IMPORTANT - USE Y.'EENCH on hexagon portion of regulator for installing or adjusting after the installation. Insert the regulator lever in the rocker and tighten screw to engage notch in the lever.

Grates should be shaken once a day unless weather is mild in which case grates may be shaken only as required to sustain fire. '.Then shaking, rock handle about 5" to left and right of center position. BEFORE REMOVING HANDLE MOVE IT SO THAT HANDLE POINTS STRAIGHT UP OTHERWISE GRATES MAY BURN OUT.
- Page 9 ARCOLINER BOILER (DRY BASE) ATTENTION TO BOILER WHEN MOT IM OPERATION At end of heating season clean boiler surfaces thoroughly and remove ash and unburncd fuel from grate and ash pit. Spray flue and firebox surfaces with light lubricating or crankcase oil using rum with extended stem so as to reach all corners. Leave boiler doors and dampers open to permit air circulation through boiler.
- Page 10 ARCOLINER BOILER (DRY BASE) CLEARING BOILERS The grease used to lubricate the cutting tools during erection of new piping systems serves as a carrier for sand and dirt, with the result that a scum of fine particles and grease accumulates on the surface of the water in all new boilers, while heavier particles may settle to the bottom of the boiler and form sludge.
