What’s Inside of the Manual The Purpose of the Manual The manual provides you with the instructions on how to use the patient monitor with safety, function and purposes. Please locate the manual within the place you can reach easily for the reconfirmation of the function.
  • Page 11 You are asked to check the surroundings of the units before the operation whether there are any harmful things. NOTE ▪ VP-700 is “Class IIb” equipment. ▪ It is type “CF grade” for ECG, Resp, IBP and “BF grade” for EtCO2, SpO₂, NIBP and Temp.

WARNING Please do not disassemble the patient monitors. The manufacturer is free from the responsibility if something happens.

  • Page 15 CAUTION VP-700 have the Touch Panel on the front screen. Please be careful not to give any shocks. Do not touch the touch panel with the ball point pen or sharp things because this behavior causes the damage. The misuse by the end user cannot be covered by free technical service.
  • Page 16 VP-700 User Manual Safety Information CAUTION Instruction on manual should be kept for the long life of the patient monitor. But the priority should be on the patient than the manual. CAUTION When the data of patient is damaged temporarily, the present monitoring may not be completed.

  • Page 18 CAUTION: Please abide by the regulations of the related country when you dump or reuse the battery. Please, when storing the VP-700's equipment for more than 3 months, it is recommended to remove the battery by a fully trained administrator before storage.

CAUTION: When storing, hang used cables and lead wires vertically to prevent them from becoming twisted after use, and do not store them wrapped around other medical equipment.

The users can easily operate the function or setting of the patient monitor with encoder and Touch Screen(when purchasing a Touch product.). The trend function outputs saved vital sign and various warning messages.

AC Power and Battery specification When AC power is connected to the VP-700, the power button on the front of the product lights up in blue, and when the product is not in use, it switches to automatic charging mode to charge the battery.

SET UP – Non-Touch Press the center of the ENCODER to set up the Non-Touch product. This will display a pull- down menu at the top of the screen.

  • Page 56 How to operate VP-700 TREND The VP-700 periodically saves all measurement data every 1 minute or 15 seconds when measuring the patient's vital signs, depending on the settings. For user convenience, the VP-700 provides Graph Trend Data, allowing you to more easily check the patient's condition.

The quality cannot be guaranteed when the user use the other brand. WARNING If the senor is too tightened with fixing tape (wrong case), the patient may have the damage on the skin.

This aids the clinician in clinical settings requiring fast response time such as those seen with induction, intubation, sleep studies and resuscitation.
