1 Bluetooth is een radiotechnologie waarmee toestellen zoals mobiele telefoons
en headsets zonder draden of kabels over een korte afstand (zo'n 10m) met elkaar
kunnen verbonden worden. Surf naar www.bluetooth.com voor meer informatie.
2 Bluetooth profielen zijn de verschillende manieren waarop Bluetooth toestellen
communiceren met andere toestellen. Bluetooth telefoons ondersteunen het
headset profiel, het handsfree profiel of beide profielen. Om een bepaald profiel te
ondersteunen, moet de fabrikant van de telefoon bepaalde functies integreren in de
software van de telefoon.
3 Pairing brengt een unieke en beveiligde verbinding tot stand tussen twee Bluetooth
toestellen en zorgt ervoor dat ze met elkaar kunnen communiceren. Bluetooth
toestellen zullen niet kunnen communiceren wanneer ze niet eerst zijn gekoppeld
('pairing').
4 Sleutelcode of PIN is een code die u op uw mobiele telefoon invoert om hem te
koppelen aan uw Jabra BT620s. Hierdoor gaan uw telefoon en de Jabra BT620s elkaar
herkennen en automatisch samenwerken.
5 Stand-by modus is wanneer de Jabra BT620s passief wacht op een gesprek.
Wanneer u een gesprek op uw mobiele telefoon beëindigt, schakelt de headset
automatisch over op de stand-by modus.
6 A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) is een Bluetooth-profiel dat
stereogeluid mogelijk maakt. Zowel de headset als het apparaat waarop deze wordt
aangesloten moeten A2DP ondersteunen om A2SP-geluid in de headset te kunnen
horen.
7 AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile) is een Bluetooth-profiel dat
afstandsbediening mogelijk maakt van het apparaat waarop de headset is
aangesloten. Zowel de headset als het apparaat waarop deze wordt aangesloten
moeten AVRCP ondersteunen, anders functioneert AVRCP niet.
