CAREFULLY READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS ENERGY ABSORBER
This Energy Absorber is designed to minimise the risk of/provide protection against the danger of falling from heights. However, always remember that no item of PPE
comply with this Regulation through the Harmonized European Standard BS EN 355:2002.
The energy absorber is a component of personal fall arrest equipment and complies with EN355.
Fall arrest system consisted of energy absorber (complied with EN 355) connected to lanyard (complied with EN 354) attached to the full
body harness (complied with EN 361) and connected to the structural anchor point (complied with EN 795) can be used as a basic
personal protective equipment against falls from a height.
CAUTION: The total length of the energy absorber with lanyard shall not exceed 2 m.
BASIC EQUIPMENT
Energy absorber made of 44 mm wide polyester webbing. Absorber is equipped with attaching loops on the endings. The body of the
absorber is protected by special jacket made of a shrinkable, polyethylene tube.
ATTENTION! The energy absorbers can be equiped only with certyfied (according to EN362) snap hooks.
ADMISSIBLE TIME OF USE
The energy absorber can be used for 5 years, counting from the date of putting the device into operation. After 5 years of usage the energy
absorber must be withdrawn from use and destroyed.
The energy absorber must be withdrawn from use immediately and destroyed when it have been used to arrest a fall.
