    Turning Your PMP On/Off • To turn the PMP on, press and hold until you see the “Lenco” Screen. • To turn the PMP off, press and hold until the PMP turns off.

    GEttInG startED Resetting Your PMP Reset your PMP if it should freeze and not respond or otherwise malfunction. If the PMP is connected to a computer, disconnect it. Connect your PMP to a 100-240V wall outlet with the supplied power adapter to ensure that your PMP has power.

    raDIo MoDE Enter RADIO mode to listen to FM Radio broadcasts. Earphones (or headphones) must be connected to the PMP’s Headphone jack for Radio operation for use as an antenna.     To use your XEMIO-3530 to output audio and video to an external home theater system, use the connections diagrammed below. Composite Video or S-Video Output When using the Composite Video or S-Video output connection: Enter SETUP mode from the Main Menu.

    caBlE connEctIon Select the DISPLAY option. • For Enhanced-Definition capable television or monitors, adjust the Video Output setting to 480P (YPbPr) • For High-Definition capable television or monitors, adjust the Video Output setting to 720P (YPbPr) or 1080i (YPbPr) Your television or monitor must be able to support resolutions of 480P to 1080i, and a component video cable is required to use these video output modes.

    (usB) Connect the XEMIO-3530 to a computer with the USB 2.0 cable provided to: • Transfer files to and from your PMP • Perform basic file management functions. USB Driver Installation (Required for Windows 98 SE Only) It is not necessary to install the USB driver if your computer is running Microsoft Windows ME/2000/XP or newer, or Macintosh OS X.

    Microsoft Windows Double-click the “My Computer” icon on your desktop and then double-click the XEMIO-3530 icon (Removable Disk). Drag your media files (or other files) to the Removable Disk. • You may choose to use folders/subfolders to organize your media and data.

    & FIrMWarE uPGraDEs From time to time, Lenco may release firmware updates to improve the perfor- mance of the XEMIO-3530 or to add additional features. Please check the Lenco website periodically at www.lenco.eu to see if new firmware has been released for your PMP.

Formatting your PMP will erase all of your data from it (includ- ing musics, recordings, movies, photos). Make sure to copy and back up the data on your PMP that you do not want to lose prior to formatting.
