  • Page 9 Switching Between Fahrenheit or Celsius - Use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen battery cover screw. Remove cover. - While thermometer is ON, gently press and release the °C/°F button. - Place the battery cover on the thermometer and tighten the screw to secure it in place.
  • Page 10 Measuring Human Temperature Taking a Measurement 1. Press the Power Button to power on the thermometer. The unit will run a self-test and the LCD will briefly display all of its symbols during this time. When the device is ready, the last measurement reading appears on the screen, and the thermometer is ready to take a measurement.
