1). Audio Out
Each DVD disc has various audio output types for selection. You can set the type according
to the acoustic system type you are using. Three options are available:
SPDIF/OFF: no signal output from either coaxial or optical output port
SPDIF/RAW: this option is chosen when the coaxial and optical port are connected with
power amplifier. When play Dolby, DTS, MPEG discs, the coaxial or optical
port (of this unit) will output the corresponding digital signal (source code
format), here the connected power amplifier must have the decoding function
for Dolby, DTS and MPEG.
SPDIF/PCM: this option can be chosen when the payer is connected with the digital stereo
amplifier with 2-channel. When play the Dolby, MPEG discs, the coaxial or
optical output port will output 2-channel signal which is modulated by PCM.
2). Prologic
It will not take effect unless you set the Downmix of loudspeaker setup page to be 5.1 CH
output. This option includes 3 items: Movie mode, Music mode, OFF.
Movie mode: when play normal stereo discs, selecting this option can switch to
Music mode: when play normal stereo discs, selecting this option can switch to
OFF: choosing this option, the played stereo discs only output 2 CH.
