- Page 10 Installation Preparation 1.MOUNTING HEIGHT FOR THE MOST EFFICIENT & QUIET OPERTION: • A distance of 24” to 32” is recommended between stove top and the bottom of range hood. • If the hood is mounted too low this could result in heat and/or fire hazard. If the hood is mounted too high the controls will be hard to reach, and the hood will lose its performance and efficiency.

Secure the hood by using 1 7/8” provided screws though the back of the hood to the studs. STEP 8: CONNECT DUCTWORK Connect the exhaust on the hood to the ductwork.
