Mower Idler Pulley Belt Guard Adjustment
The mower idler pulley belt guard should be
adjusted so that it is pointed directly toward the
left arbor pulley when the mower clutch is DIS¬
ENGAGED. If it is not, loosen the nut holding on
the belt guard and pulley, point the belt guard to¬
ward the left arbor (as shown in figure 5). Tighten
the nut while holding the belt guard to keep it from
moving.

REMOVING MOWER
1. Turn the front tractor wheels to the left
as far as they go. Remove mower drive belt
from epgine pulley.
2. Remove wire connector from mower safety
interlock switch and attach connector to by¬
pass terminal inside of seat deck, (see figure
8
).
3. Remove cable from lift lever.
4. Remove two pins and locking clips from
front mower hitch arms.
5. Slide mower out right side of tractor and
replace pins and locking clips in mower hitch
for storage.

WARNING
Do not operate the tractor with the mower
unless the wire connector is properly installed
on the mower safety interlock switch.
