warning Please keep the hair dryer clean and always remove dust and hair to increase its life span.

A Removable hair filter

  • To remove sucked-in dust and hair from the hair filter, you can remove the hair filter by gently turning it to the left. Do this only if the appliance is unplugged. Use a brush to clean the hair filter. After cleaning, put the hair filter back in place and lock it by turning it to the right. Only place the hair filter on the hair dryer when dry! The appliance must only be used with the hair filter in place! Regularly cleaning the hair filter greatly increases the life span of the hair dryer.

B Cold air button

  • Use the cold air button to increase the fullness and tone of your hair and to stabilise your hairstyle. We recommend using the cold air button after drying and brushing your hair.

C Heat toggle switch

  • Use the upper toggle switch to choose from 3 different heat settings: cold, warm and maximum heat. Please refer to the description given in the section "Switching the appliance on and setting heat and motor speed".

D Motor speed and ON/OFF toggle switch

  • Use the bottom toggle switch to choose between low and high motor speed resp. switch the appliance off. Please refer to the description given in the section "Switching the appliance on and setting heat and motor speed".

E Suspension loop

  • The practical suspension loop can be used to store the hair dryer safely and saving space.

F Styling nozzle

  • Use this nozzle to accurately point the jet of hot or cold air at single strands of hair or quickly dry your hair. The styling nozzle can also used while brushing.

SWITCHING THE APPLIANCE ON AND SETTING HEAT AND MOTOR SPEED

  • Use the two toggle switches to adjust heat and motor speed:

C Upper toggle switch: heat

D Lower toggle switch: motor speed and ON/OFF

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Always pull the plug before cleaning the appliance. Keep the appliance away from water and keep it safe from dust, dirt and lint. Regularly remove and clean the hair filter with a soft brush. After cleaning, reinstall the hair filter. Use only a slightly damp cloth to wipe the appliance clean and dry it afterwards with a soft cloth.

OVERHEATING PROTECTION

  • The appliance is equipped with a safety thermostat and the heating element automatically switches off if it overheats. The motor keeps running to cool the heating element. After a short break, the heating element switches back on automatically. You should still make sure that the air inlets and outlets are completely free from dust and lint and, if necessary, clean the appliance with a dry cloth.

  • Never operate this appliance near bathtubs, wash basins or other vessels containing water.
  • Do not let children play with the appliance.
