Maximum DCF55 Lithium Electric Nailer
When it is confirmed that the lithium battery tool needs to be disassembled
and repaired, the following requirements must be met before repair. In
subsequent repair steps, the requirements will be deemed to have been
met:
1. Be familiar with the contents of the manual, including the use and operation of lithium battery
tools, as well as safety warnings;
2. Turn off the power, remove the battery, and ensure that the lithium battery tool is in a power-
off status (refer to the relevant parts of the manual);
3. Take out all the nails in the lithium battery tool magazine (refer to the relevant parts of the
manual);
4. Wait until the temperature of the lithium battery tool to normal temperature (if the lithium
battery tool has just finished working and the temperature is too high, operator may be burned
or injured when disassemble it at this time);
Note: Dry, clean compressed air can be used to blow the cylinder body and motor parts to
cool down. Do not use freezing or other methods with large instantaneous temperature
differences to cool down.
5. Release the high-pressure gas in the cylinder block assembly to make the internal pressure the
same to atmospheric pressure
Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove one self-tapping screw and remove the protective cover;
use a slotted screwdriver to remove the plug knob. Be careful to keep the disassembled parts.
There is an O-ring inside the plug knob, be careful not to lose it. There is no need to replace
it until the repair is completed. (Figure 1, Figure 2).
6. Ensure that the operating space is clean and tidy, free of dust, iron filings and other impurities
and foreign matter (lithium battery tools contain magnetic parts that attract iron filings, and
some precision parts may be damaged if they are contaminated with impurities)
Note: Be sure to follow safety warnings in the manual, and remember not to point
the gun at yourself or others under any circumstances to avoid accidents!
The removed fasteners are supposed to be used again. But if screw thread is
