The following options are available: Idle The idle option is used to place a DS0 channel in an idle state. In this state all existing connections to that DS0 channel will be removed and new assignments can be made.

    T1/E1 Access Module Show and Test Commands Passport 4400 T1/E1 and Digital Voice Module Manual Channel Pattern Test Description This test outputs the selected test pattern (qrss, 511, loop, or fixed) over the transmit pair of the selected DS0 channel of the specified T1/E1 line, and compares any signal returned from the remote site on the receive pair of the same channel.
