HELPFUL HINTS (PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS)

Because of the Quality we build into our product,
very few problems are actual TV defects. Most prob-
lems only involve simple hookup or setup changes that
can be solved by the customer. Please check the chart

Power surge protection feature
Check antenna/external connections

The Plasma TV takes a few seconds to
display an image.
Check if station is broadcasting a
Closed-Caption signal.
Select another channel.
Digital Caption signal is not being
broadcast.
Pillar Box (4:3) signal being broadcast.
Check if program is in color.
Check antenna/external connections.
Color or Tint misadjusted.
May be station trouble.
May be MUTE function is on.
Check Audio/Video connections.
Check external equipment connections.
Check external equipment setting.
Check antenna connection.
Press INFO key and check signal
strength.
Check if station is broadcasting a true
MTS stereo signal or a SAP signal.
Channel may be removed from
memory.
Check antenna connections.
No digital signal being broadcast
V-Guide is set to block programming.
Weak Signal
Cable Channel Indicator C should
appear next to channel number.
Check batteries.
Check if TV is plugged in.
Check if program is in color.
Color or Time misadjusted.
Do not display the same image on
screen for a long period of time. After-
images or ghosts may appear on parts
of the panel.
This is a normal condition during
warm-up and cool down of the plastic
cabinet parts.
