Text entry modes

Text messages can be made up of alphabetical characters,
numbers, and symbols. Each text entry mode is explained in
further detail in the following table:

Alphabetical ABC mode options are:
ABC - All uppercase
ABC
Abc - Initial caps
abc - All lower case
Enter symbols into your message by pressing the

number above the symbol in the display.
Enter numbers by pressing the corresponding key

Press each key only once to enter the letter of the
T9 Word
word that you're spelling.
The current mode of text entry (ABC, SYM, 123, or
