Before You Start Playing

Connect the Pedal Cable

Insert the pedal cable into the Pedal connector on the
rear panel of the KR-7/5.

Connect the Speaker Cable

(KR-7)
As shown in the diagram, connect the speaker cable
leading from the speaker box of the stand to the speaker
connector located on the rear panel of the KR-7.
Push the speaker cable in until it clicks into position.

NOTE
Do not place containers holding liquids (such as flower vases),
insecticide, perfume, alcohol, or similar substances on top of this
piano.
The speakers of this piano are mounted beneath the upper surface,
and face upwards. Malfunctions or accidents may occur if liquids
contact any part of the speakers.

Connect the Power Cord

Insert the included power cable into the AC inlet on the
bottom panel of the KR-7/5, and then plug it into an
electrical outlet.
NOTE
Be sure to use the supplied power cord.

Setting Up the Music Stand (KR-5)

Gently raise the music stand, then secure it in place as
shown in the figure.

To collapse the stand, fold in the metal fittings while
supporting the stand with both hands and gently fold
down the stand.
NOTE
Do not apply excessive force to the music stand.
Setting Up the Music Stand (KR-7)
1.
Grasping the music stand with both hands, lift it
toward you until its in the upright position.
2.
Use the support on the back of the music stand to keep
the stand in place.
The angle of the music stand can be set to any of three
positions.
