Important Safety Instructions
To guard against injury, basic safety precaution should be observed including the following:
- READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
- Ensure your hand is dry when inserting/removing the power cord from the receptacle.
- Never plug in a wet cord. If a plugged in unit or socket does get wet, DON'T touch it. Instead, promptly disconnect the fuse or circuit breaker that supplies power to the appliance.
- If the appliance show an any sign of abnormal water leakage, immediately unplug it from the power source. Carefully examine the appliance after installation. It should not be plugged in if there is water on the parts not intended to be wet.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- The operating voltage must be compatible with the transformer voltage requirements.
- A G.F.C.I (Ground fault circuit interrupter) & surge protector is recommended for all electrical appliances.
- Always unplug an appliance from the outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. Never yank the cord to pull plug from the outlet. Grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
- Make sure an appliance mounted on a tank is securely installed before operating it.
- Save these safety instructions.

Installation
- Connect the airline tubing to airline inlet on the bubble maker.
- Choose a location in your aquarium for the bubble maker. If placing on the aquarium bottom, remove all gravel and debris from chosen location. Keeping the cord in place with suction cup. DO NOT submerge female transformer connector in aquarium water.
- Connect opposite end of airline tubing to air pump. Follow manufacturer's instructions, warnings and safeguards when installing air pump.
- Connect female plug on bubble maker to the male plug on power adapter.
- Place the volcano stone over the bubble maker.
- Plug in air pump power cord and bubble maker transformer into a G.F.C.I outlet utilizing a drip loop.
Note: To achieve the desired amount of air bubbles, either insert a control valve in the airline tubing, or purchase an air pump with adjustable airflow.
Tips
- Allow bubble maker to soak for one hour in the water before turning on air supply.
- If algae buildup reduces airflow after extended use, remove bubbler disk from aquarium and clean surface with a stiff brush.
- Use more powerful air pump if the bubbler is not equally distributing.
- For suction cups to adhere properly, the surface must be completely clean.
Note: The volume and pressure output of your air pump will determine how large an area of the disk will release bubbles.
Maintenance
- Every week, remove gravel or debris that may have covered the airstone to ensure best possible performance.
- Every week, use a so, non-abrasive cloth to remove any algae buildup on bubble maker.
- Periodically check airline tubing to make sure no water, debris or condensation has selected in. If there are any obstructions, remove airline tubing, soak in a 50-50 vinegar-water solution for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with room-temperature water and allow to air dry completely. Re-attach airline tubing.
Note: Do not dispose of this product as normal household waste. Take it to you local refeuse collection site.
