Product Descriptions

  1. BZ700 works on most after 1996 OBDII compliant US, European and Asian vehicles.
  2. Mercedes-Benz cars (including Maybach), (1991-2021) Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (commercial vehicle series, some of these models have a 38PIN diagnostic interface, which is not supported). Benz Smart (Smart).

  1. LCD DISPLAY - Displays test results. Display with backlight, 320 x 240 pixels.
  2. [OK] BUTTON Confirms a selection (or action) from a menu.
  3. [ESC ]BUTTON - Cancels a selection (or action) from a menu or returns to the menu.
  4. [LEFT] SCROLL BUTTON - move left through menu and submenu in menu mode, when scrolling in a data interface the left key can be used to move to the last screen.
  5. [RIGHT] SCROLL BUTTON - in menu mode move through the menu and submenu items to the right, when scrolling in a data interface the right key can be used to move to the next screen.
  6. [UP] SCROLL BUTTON - in menu mode, move up through the menu and submenu items. When retrieving data for more than one screen, by moving the screen up to the previous screen for more data.
  7. [DOWN] SCROLL BUTTON - in menu mode, using the menu and submenu items to move down. If retrieving data for more than one screen, move down the screen to the next screen for more data.
  8. OBD-16PlN CONNECTOR - Connects the scan tool to the vehicle's Data Link Connector (DLC).
  9. [I/M] BUTTON - Quick State Emissions Readiness Check and Drive Cycle Check.
  10. [READ DTC] BUTTON - Quick readout of the vehicle's fault code.

Diagnosis

For Benz

This product mainly tests Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter and Smart. Let's take Mercedes-Benz as an example to analyze the general functions of the product.
Select [For Benz] it will show as follows:
Diagnosis - For Benz - Step 1

  1. Select [OK] to continue, In [For Benz Diagnose], Select [Last Test Record] and the following interface will appear:
    Diagnosis - For Benz - Step 2
    warning Remark: In the last test record, you can quickly find the result of the last test.
  2. In [Automatically Search], it can identify the name and year of the vehicle by VIN.
    Diagnosis - For Benz - Step 3
    Mark [Automatically Search] read VIN to analyze and identify specific models and chassis. Currently, only Mercedes-Benz cars support automatic recognition, and Smart and Sprinter do not support Automatically Search.
  3. Manually Select: If the automatically Search is abnormal, customer can use the Manually Select to test.
    In [Manually Select], it shows as follows:

Special Functions for Benz

  1. Oil Service Light Reset
    Select [Special Functions] and go to [Oil Service Light Reset] Follow the instructions on the interface to complete the Oil Service Light Reset. The specific steps are as follows

  2. EPB Replace Brake Pads
    Select [Special Functions]and go to [EPB Replace Brake Pads] Follow the instructions on the interface to complete the EPB

This function allows you to read the battery voltage in real time.
From the main menu, use the navigation button LEFT/ RIGHT to select the menu BAT and press the button OK. The screen will display the interface shown below:

Feedback

  1. If the device indicates a connection error with the vehicle or any other problem, during use, please use the feedback function.

    or Example: Register Battery Change enter [Register Battery Change] and run Register Battery Change again (This step is very important).
    warning Note: Keep the device connected to the vehicle during the above steps.
  2. After you have registered the battery change, disconnect the device from the vehicle.
  3. Transfer the data to your computer and create a feedback file (You need to download the update file from ANCEL website to your computer).

The device is connected to the computer via USB cable.

Update

  1. Download the update software and unzip the file
  2. Connect the device to the computer via USB cable
  3. The update software is only supported by 7/8/10. In Windows 7, you need to install the driver, in Windows 8/10, you can run the update software directly.

warning Note:
Windows XP and Apple computers do not support upgrades. If you do not understand the upgrade steps in the instructions, please contact ANCEL customer service.

Safety Precautions and Warnings

To avoid injury or damage to the vehicle and/or scan tool, first read this manual and observe the following safety precautions when working on a vehicle:

  • First, turn off the ignition. Connect the 16-pin connector, and then turn on the ignition. Always perform vehicle tests in a safe environment.
  • Do not attempt to operate or observe the device while driving a vehicle.
  • Operating or observing the device distracts the driver and may result in a fatal accident.
  • Wear safety glasses that meet the standards of ANSI.
  • Keep clothing, hair, hands, tools, test equipment, etc. away from all moving or hot engine parts.
  • Operate the vehicle in a well-ventilated area: exhaust fumes are toxic.
  • Place blocks in front of the drive wheels and never leave the vehicle unattended while performing tests.
  • Use extreme caution when working near the ignition coil, distributor cap, ignition wires and spark plugs. These components generate dangerous voltages when the engine is running.
  • Keep a fire extinguisher nearby that is suitable for gasoline, chemical, and electrical fires.
  • Keep the scan tool dry, clean, and free of oil/water or grease. If necessary, use a mild detergent on a clean cloth to clean the outside of the scan tool

Instructions Manual

  1. Turn on the vehicle ignition;
  2. Locate the vehicle's 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC);
  3. Connect the device to the vehicle's 16-pin Data Link Connector, do not use USB to power devices;
  4. Start using your device
