SHORT CABLE INSTRUCTIONS A short power-supply cable is provided to reduce the hazards of entanglement or tripping over a longer cable.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FIRST USE Remove all packing materials and stickers from the inside and outside of the hot water pot except for the rating label, which should remain on the unit. 2. Gently wipe down the exterior, interior, and lid with a damp cloth or paper towel to remove any packaging residue. - Page 10 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 3. Be careful not to splash water on the control panel or on the outside of the hot water pot. Splashing can damage the unit and may cause an electric shock. 4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS LOCK MODE Press the LOCK button to activate Lock Mode; the LOCK indicator light will turn on. Lock Mode deactivates and locks both the manual DISPENSE button and the REBOIL button. In Lock Mode, the KEEP WARM and REBOIL indicator lights turn off. To deactivate Lock Mode, simply press the LOCK button again. -

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS WHEN NOT IN USE When finished using the hot water pot, turn off the On/Off switch and unplug it from the socket. To detach the lid, open it, and then use your thumbs to pull the inner hinge wide enough so that you can remove the lid. -
