4. Note: If the clamping handles do not lock the mounting brackets to the stand
properly they need to be adjusted. Undo the lock nut on the underside of
the mounting bracket and turn the adjuster screw clockwise to make the clamping
handles clamp the rails tighter. Tighten the lock nut again when you are happy
with the adjustment.
5. Check the number of fastening points on you saw. If your saw has four
symmetrical fastening points, read points 9, 10 and 11. If your saw only has three
fastening points or asymmetrical fastening points, you will need to use the adaptor
plates (7). Read points 6, 7 and 8. The included coach bolts are universal and may
need to be shortened slightly depending on which mitre saw is to be attached. If
the bolts stick up too much, they may obstruct the mitre saw turntable.
6. Remove the mounting brackets from the stand and attach the adaptor plates
according to the picture. Insert the coach bolts up through the slots in the adaptor
plates from underneath, pass a washer over the end of each bolt and then fasten
each bolt with a nut.
7. Mount the saw onto the adaptor plates.
8. Mount the saw and mounting bracket assembly onto the saw stand.
