    (rinse & fill) are delayed until right before the unit comes on line. This pre-service rinse will minimize hardness and iron leakage from resin due to a prolonged stagnant mode.     STEP 2S – Select between softening or filtering. A flashing "SOFTENING" or TYPE "FILTERING" will appear. Choose SOFTENING using  or  button. Factory setting is Softening.
