@ Handling the Caiculator
= Never try to take the calculator apart.
» When using paper, be sure you install it correctly.
« Paper jams are indicated hy "P". Correct the problem as
soon as possible,
W@ Battery Operation
Any of the following indicates low battery power. Switch
power off and replace batteries for normal operation.
Printing problems
* Dim dispiay

Note the following to avoid battery leakage and damage
to the unit.
= Never mix batteries of different types.
= Never mix old batteries and new ones.
= Never leave dead batteries in the battery compartment.
+ Remove batteries if you do not plan to use the calcula-
tor for a lang time.
«Do not expose batteries to heat, let them become
shorted, or try to take them apart.
Should batteries leak, clean out the battery compan-
ment immediately. Avoid letting the battery fluldcome
into direct contact with your skin,

Important!
* The adaptor normally becomes warm when it is being
used,
* Unplug the adaptor fromm the AC autiet when you are not
using the calculator.
* Make sure calculator power is switched off when con-
necting or disconnecting the adaptar.
« Using another adaptor besides AD-A60024 can dam-
age your calculator.
Wi About the Input Buffer
The input buffer of this calculator holds up to 7 key op-
erations so you can continue key input even while an-
other operation is being processed.
@ Errors
The following cause the error symbol "E" to appear on
the display. Clear the error as indicated and continue.
« Integer of a resultis longer than 12 digits. Shift the deci-
mal place of the displayed value 12 places to the right
for approximate result. Press fq to clear the catcula-
tion.
« Integer of total in memory is longer than 12 digits. Press
fq to clear the calculation.
Memory protection:
The contents of the memory are protected against errors
and that is recatted by the [ig] key alter the overflow check
is released by the &@q key.
Mi Auto Power Ott
The caiculator is switched off after about 6 minutes from
the last operation. Press onfag to re-start. Memory con-
tents and the decimal mode setting are retained.

Cuatquiera de tas condiciones siguientes indica que la
alimentacion por pilas esta débil. Desactive la
alimentacién de la unidad y cambie las pilas para volver
a Operar normalmente.

Tenga en cuenta lo siguiente para evitar la sulfatacion de
las pilas y dafos a la unidad.
+ No mezcle pilas de diferentes tipos.
+ No mezcle pilas usadas con pilas nuevas.

+ Saque las pilas si tiene pensado no usar la calculadora
durante un largo periodo de tiempo.
+ No exponga las pilas al calor, no permita que se pongan
en cortocircuite ni tampoco trate de desarmarias.
Si fas pias llegan a sulfatarse, limpie ol!

La memoria intermedia de entrada de esta calculadora
retiene hasta 7 operaciones de tecla, de manera que
puede continuar realizando ingresos por tecla aun
mientras otra operacion se encuentra en proceso.
Wi Errores
Lo siguiente ocasionara que el simboto de error "E"
aparezca sobre la presentacién. Borre el error como se
indica y continue.
* Ei numero entero de un resuitado tiene una tongitud
mayor de 12 digitos. Desplace et lugar decimal del valor
visualizado 12 lugares hacia la derecha para aproximar
ei resultadia. Presione {Ac} para borrar el calcul.
*El aumero entero del total en la memoria tiene una
longitud mayor de 12 digitos, Presione para borrar
al calcula.
