INSTALLATION / OPERATION
STEP 1: Check Aqua Lift pump for any signs of shipping
damage before using. If damaged, do not operate and
return to retailer.
STEP 2: Cut two lengths of 1/8" airline tubing (sold
separately) to the desired length. Please note the far-
ther the pump is away from tank/reservoir, the great-
er head pressure will be, causing reduced water flow.
STEP 3: Connect one length of the 1/8" airline tubing
securely onto the intake port (arrow pointing towards
pump) located on the Aqua Lift Place the opposite
end of the "intake" tubing in the sump or reservoir,
submersing the tubing end underwater.
STEP 4: Take the second piece of tubing, connecting
one end to the outflow port (arrow point away from
the pump) on the Aqua Lift Place the opposite end of
the tubing in the tank/reservoir that is being filled,
keeping the termination end of the tubing above the
water level to prevent back-siphoning in case of elec-
trical power loss.
STEP 5: Insert Aqua Lift's electrical plug into the power
receptacle, forming a "drip loop", (prevents water/
moisture from traveling down the cord and seeping
into power receptacle around the fish tank).
Aqua Lift is designed for external use only; do not sub-
merse or damage to the pump may occur. This self-
priming pump should be mounted or positioned above
the aquarium or sump water level. The Aqua Lift can
be securely mounted using a S hook (commonly found
in most hardware stores). If smaller amounts of water
are to be dosed or a lower flow rate is required, the
Aqua Lift can be switched on and off for varying peri-
ods of times. For exact dosing, a digital timer program-
mable in minutes should be used along with the
Aqua Lift.
Koller Products Aqua Lift is ideal for moving small amounts of water from
one place to the next, up to a height of 24 inches. Perfect for topping off
aquariums, dosing reef supplements, drip system for reptiles' terrariums,
priming gravity fed siphon tubes and acclimating new fish and corals to your
tank's water. Aqua Lift is designed for residential use only, it is not to be
used commercially.
