  • Page 5 Lightly lubricate the cartridge o-rings. Push the shutoff units into their ports. Make sure that the detent pin on the bottom of the cartridge goes into the slot in the housing. Use a 19 mm socket wrench to tighten the nuts. Install the volume control cartridge using a 17 mm socket wrench.
  • Page 6 Cut the mounting screws so that they are X+1¼" 183 5 5 0 01 - 14 x (X + 31 mm) long. 18 3 5 6 0 01 - 16 x Cut one of the stem extensions so that it is X + ⅞" (X + 23 mm) long.
  • Page 7 Clip the fitting adapter(s) to the stop unit(s). Install the Select adapter(s). Remove the adhesive backing from the fitting aid. Position the fitting aid over the Select adapter.
