STEPS:
Note: This mounting template is designed for a 30-inch (762 mm) width range hood with a 12-inch (304 mm) depth
cabinet. If your cabinet is larger, adjust accordingly.
1. From the bottom of the cabinet, find the center of the depth and width opening.
2. Mark a line across the full width and depth of these two centers.
3. Remove the cutout area from the mounting template.
4. Align the cabinet center lines to the center lines on the template.
5. Tape the template to the bottom of the cabinet using the outer lines of the template as a guide.
6. Trace the cutout area.
7. Mark the screw position locations (6). Four (4) of them align with the slotted holes of the range hood.
8. Remove the template and cut the traced area from the cabinet.
9. Screw in (BB) screws in the four (4) marked locations where they align with the slotted holes of the range hood. Leave about 1/4 in. (6.4mm) gap.
These will help align and hold the hood in place for final assembly.
10. Follow the User Manual to prepare the hood for installation.
11. Insert the hood from the bottom of the cabinet and align the hood screw slots with the (4) screws on cabinet.
12. Push into location and follow the Care Manual Instructions.
