    Brüel & Kjær Vibro │Instructions Velocity Sensors of the VSI series About this Document About this Document This manual describes the correct installation and use of Velocity Sensors of the VSI series (VSI-1xx / VSI-2xx). The following information applies to the entire VSI series. If information applies to a specific version of a given sensor, this is indicated in the heading.

This may result in them becoming hot due to heat transferred from adjacent housing walls and causing burns.

    Mounting VSI-10x Coupling As a general rule: The weight of the sensor should be at least ten times less than the relevant weight of the measurement object on which it is mounted and of which it measures vibrations. The sensor is an additional weight that places a load on the measurement object and modifies its vibration behavior.
