The following items are available to edit in the Setup Menu.
MAX PRESET: Number of presets available to the user. Set to OFF to disable preset loading. Range
is OFF to 99, default is 12.
PRST CHAN Sets the MIDI channel the micro.clock will use to send MIDI Program Change messages.
Set to OFF to disable sending Program Changes. Range is MIDI Channel 1 to 16.
OUTPUT A: Configuration of Outputs A and B.
OUTPUT B:
NORM OPEN: Normally Open Tap Tempo Output, suitable for most devices
NORM CLOS: Normally Closed Tap Tempo Output, suitable for Boss devices
TOGGLE: Toggle output, switches on or off but does not follow tempo
MIDI TIP: MIDI output, TRS type A with tip active. Set DIP to ON-ON-ON
MIDI RING: MIDI output, TRS type B with ring active. Set DIP to ON-ON-ON for Type B or
OFF-ON-ON for use with Chase Bliss pedals
MULTIJACK:: Configures the MultiJack hardware, please see the MultiJack section on
full details. Set DIPs to OFF-OFF-OFF for modes marked with *, ON-ON-ON for other modes unless
noted.
NORM OPEN*: Normally Open Tap Tempo Output, suitable for most devices
NORM CLOS*: Normally Closed Tap Tempo Output, suitable for Boss devices
TOGGLE*: Toggle output, switches on or off but does not follow tempo
MIDI TIP: MIDI output, TRS type A with tip active.
MIDINOCLK: MIDI output, TRS type A, does not send MIDI clock.
TAP FT.SW: Connect remote dual footswitch for tap tempo and start / stop
PST FT.SW: Connect remote dual footswitch for preset up and preset down
CV TIP: Sends 0-3.3V control voltage from tip in response to tempo
CV RING: Sends 0-3.3V control voltage from ring in response to tempo
CV NO BPM: Sends 0-3.3V control voltage from tip, does not follow tempo
MIDI I/O: Configures Tip as MIDI output, Ring as MIDI input
MIDI RING: MIDI output, TRS type B with ring active. Set DIP to ON-ON-ON for Type B or
OFF-ON-ON for use with Chase Bliss pedals
MIDITHRU: Configures Tip as MIDI output, Ring as MIDI input, data on Tip is sent to Ring
PULSE: Sends 3.3V voltage pulses from Tip in response to tempo
MIDI IN: Configures as MIDI IN on Ring only, no MIDI out on MultiJack
CV OUT MIN: Sets the delay time corresponding to 0.0V output
CV OUT MAX: Sets the delay time corresponding to 3.3V output
BPM DISP: Configure the way tempo is displayed and entered on the micro.clock
0.5 BPM: Tempo is displayed and entered in 0.5 BPM increments
1.0 BPM: Tempo is displayed and entered in 1.0 BPM increments. Tempos under 100.0
BPM will be displayed with the decimal value
MS: Tempo is displayed and edited in 1 millisecond (MS) increments. Tempos will get
faster as the MS value decreases, so this may feel counterintuitive.

TAP LENGTH: Configures the amount of time the outputs are on during a tap. Longer settings
increase the time the output is held after a tap, increase this if your tap tempo device doesn't
respond to taps. Only controls the outputs in Normally Open, Normally Close, or Pulse modes. Does not
affect MIDI output.
DISPLAY BRT: Sets LED brightness from 0-9. Default is 4, does not affect OLED display contrast.
LED COLOR: Sets the color of the tap LED. Default is BLUE.
INPUT CHANNEL MIDI channel the controller will use to receive incoming data. Default is 16.
micro.clock will respond to MIDI input on USB Type-C port or the MultiJack if MIDI Input is enabled.
MIDI START: Configures the MIDI outputs to send a MIDI Start and Stop message when the master
clock is started or stopped. Use this if you are attempting to control a drum machine or sequencer.
MIDI CC #: Sets the MIDI Control Change "controller" value the micro.clock will use to send MIDI Tap.
Defaults to MIDI CC 93.
MIDI CC CH: Sets the MIDI Channel the micro.clock will use to send MIDI Tap. Set to OFF to disable
MIDI Tap, range is MIDI Channel 1 to 16.
AUTO TAP: Controls the tap output behavior.
OFF: All outputs will tap 4 times on tempo change
A, B, C: Selected outputs will send taps at all times
FOOTSWITCH: Sets the footswitch configuration.
TAP TEMPO: Tap the footswitch to set tempo, hold for next preset.
PRESET: Tap for next preset, hold for previous preset. Tempo is set with knob only.
START: Tap to start clock, tap again to stop. Hold for next preset. Tempo set with knob.
SCREENSAVER: Enable or disable screensaver, starts after 5 minutes of no user activity.
FACT:
Factory reset. Tap RIGHT in this menu until a setting is displayed, then tap the left button
to reset those settings to defaults.
BACK = exit reset menu without changes
UPDATE = restarts micro.clock in update mode.
CONFIG = clears configuration only, leaves presets.
PRESET = clears presets, leaves configuration.
ALL = clears configuration, fills presets from 0-99.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You must SAVE your changes from the Setup Menu before they will
take effect!
