Changing TV tuner settings

To change the TV turner settings:

Press the MENU/ADJ arrow buttons on the remote control or the
MENU

Press the arrow buttons or the ADJ

Press the arrow buttons or the MENU
you want to change. You can change the following TV tuner options:

SELECT ITEM
MTS. If you select STEREO, your plasma TV will play sound in stereo
when stereo is available for a TV program. If you select MONO, your
TV will play all sound from TV programs in mono. If you select SAP
(Second Audio Program), your plasma TV will play an audio simulcast
(usually another language) if a TV program has a SAP.
CHANNEL SEARCH. If you turn on this option, your plasma TV only
displays channels that have a signal when changing channels.
TUNER SOURCE. If you are using cable, set this option to CABLE. If
you are using an antenna, set this option to AIR.
BACKGROUND/BACKGROUND COLOR. If you turn this option on,
your plasma TV displays a colored background instead of static when
you change to a channel that does not have a signal. You can also
select the background color for this option.
