Connecting your HDTV decoder

Using component video

Make sure that your HDTV set-top box is not set for progressive scan output.
To connect your HDTV decoder set-top box using component video:

Connect the green Y jack on the back of your HDTV set-top box to the
green jack on the back of your LCD TV.

Connect the blue P
the blue jack on the back of your LCD TV.

Connect the red P
the red jack on the back of your LCD TV.

Connect the red (R) and white (L) audio jacks on the back of your HDTV
set-top box to the R and L audio jacks on the back of your LCD TV.
