The device and its accessories can contain small
parts. Keep these out of the reach of children.
Never throw the device into a fire.
Information about the lithium battery:
We advise you to be particularly careful when
charging the battery. Only use undamaged
USB-C chargers and charging cables provided
for the device. Charge your devices, if possible,
in a place which has smoke detectors and
fire alarms and make sure that there are no
inflammable materials or objects nearby. Stay
close when charging and do not charge while
you are sleeping. You will then be able to
recognise possible dangers in time.
Protect the device against mechanical influences
such as vibrations, knocks or dropping. Do not
store and charge the battery outdoors, in damp
rooms or in places where high temperatures are
to be expected (e.g. in a garden shed or behind
a car windscreen). This not only reduces the
risk of dangerous situations but also prolongs
the life of the battery.
Quick Guide REINER SCT Authenticator mini
Behaviour in case of fire: Burning lithium
batteries can emit heavily irritant, caustic and
toxic fumes and substances. There is therefore
an increased risk potential in case of fire.
Fires of this kind can often be extinguished
successfully with large quantities of water.
