Lada Niva
The side window of the Lada Niva is mounted in a rubber with a metal core. See figure under number
7. You should NOT remove this metal core. The existing window is located between the metal core
and the rubber. You will damage this core if you remove it before the glass, including the rubber, is
removed from the body.
To prevent damage to the bodywork of your car, we advise you to cover the area around the window
both inside and outside with, for example, duct tape. Although the disassembly and assembly are
easy to carry out, the disassembly and assembly of the window is the easiest to carry out with two
people.
