Please read through this user manual thoroughly before
using your Solis Scala Zero Static coffee grinder, so that you
become familiar with your appliance and can use it safely.
We thoroughly recommend that you keep these instructions
and, if you pass the appliance on, that you also hand these
instructions to the new owner.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. To protect against risk of electric shock, do not put neither the
appliance nor the power cord and the power plug in water
or other liquid. Protect the appliance against splashes or
rain. Danger of electric shock! Should the appliance while
connected to the power resp. the power cord or the power
plug come into contact with liquid, use dry rubber gloves to
immediately pull the power plug out of the socket. Do not use
the appliance again until you have had it's ability to function
safely checked by Solis or a Solis approved service centre.
3. Never operate the appliance resp. pull or connect the plug
with wet or moist hands or feet.
4. Before using the appliance, check if the voltage stated on the
type plate of your appliance matches your mains voltage. We
do not recommend operating the appliance with a multiway
plug adapter.
5. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
6. Do not let the power cord hang over edge of table or counter
to prevent the appliance from being pulled down. Make sure
