    SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS General Safety Instructions Use the machine correctly. Injury or death may result from incorrect use. Only use the machine for the tasks outlined in this manual.     2. Assembling the Chute 1. Remove the M6x16 round head square neck bolts (B), the spacers (C), and the locking nuts (D) from the chute base. 2. Install the chute (A) onto the chute base. 3. Use the M6×16 round head square neck bolts (B), the spacers (C), and the locking nuts (D) to secure the chute.

    OPERATION Before Operating the Product 1. Keep people and animals away from the work area. 2. Do daily maintenance as outlined in the Maintenance schedule on Page 19. 3. Make sure the ignition lead is correctly attached to the spark plug. 4.
  • Page 18 3. Adjusting the Chute Deflector The direction of the chute deflector is controlled by the chute rotation handle , located on the right side. 1. Rotate the chute rotation handle to adjust the discharge chute direction. 2. Rotate the chute rotation handle clockwise or counterclockwise to the right or left direction.
  • Page 19 3. Put the choke to the OFF position. 4. Press the primer 1-3 times to activate the booster pump. Use the booster pump for cold starts at low temperatures. CAUTION: Do not release the recoil starter handle quickly. Move it back to the start position slowly.

Make sure that your house has a three-wire grounded system that meets the requirements on the nameplate. If you are uncertain, ask a licensed electrician. CAUTION: Use an extension cord recommended for outdoor use and not exceed 50 feet (15 meters) in length..

    8.To Get a Good Result 1. Always run the engine at full throttle or near full throttle. 2. Always adapt the machine's speed to the snow situations to ensure that the machine throws snow evenly. 3. Remove snow immediately after it falls for easier and more efficient clearing.

    2-Year Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions Novus products are warranted for two (2) years against defects in materials or workmanship when put to ordinary and normal consumer use; ninety (90) days for any other use. For the purposes of all the above warranties, “ordinary and normal consumer use” refers to non-commercial residential use and does not include misuse, accidents or damage due to inadequate maintenance.

    Novus recommends that you retain all receipts covering maintenance on your small off-road engine/equipment, but Novus cannot deny warranty coverage solely for the lack of receipts or for your failure to ensure the performance of all scheduled maintenance.
  • Page 49 (b)(2). If any such part fail during the period of warranty coverage, it must be repaired or replaced by Novus or it’s contracted warranty provider according to subsection (4) below. Any such part repaired or replaced under the warranty must be warranted for a time not less than the remaining warranty period.
