Cisco Fixed-Configuration
Switches
The Cisco fixed configuration portfolio of switches includes the industry's
widest and most versatile selection of fixed-configuration switches,
making it easy for customers to find the ideal platform for any deployment.
Yet unlike point solutions, these switches share the feature-rich
functionality of Cisco IOS and NX-OS software, providing a firm
foundation for converged data, voice, and video services as well as for
a seamless migration towards convergence, virtualization and cloud
computing solutions.
The Nexus 5000 and 3000 Series and Cisco Catalyst 4900, 3750-E, 3750,
3560-E, 3560, 2960, 2940, and Catalyst Express 500 Series switches
offer an array of connectivity options, from Fast Ethernet to 10 GBE. They
range from small, standalone switches to stackable models as well as
top-of-rack or end-of-row solutions for the Data Center network. And
many models are available with a choice of software images, allowing
customers to dictate the level of intelligent network services based on
