Dyna-Lift Assembly Instructions
HF Series
June 2024
Your new HF Series kiln includes our patented Dyna-Lift lid lift assist. The Dyna-Lift connects
directly to the kiln stand and to the kiln lid handle with a single link.
The following instructions will guide you through the process of assembling the stand and
attaching the Dyna-Lift to the stand and kiln lid handle.

Step 1:
Place all frame angles as shown below. Note that the frame angles with 8 holes are placed
opposite of each other.

Dyna-Lift Ready legs have extra holes. Position the Dyna-Lift Ready legs so the single square hole is to the inside of the frame. You will be connecting a truss to this point.

- Page 6 Dyna-Lift Assembly Instructions HF Series June 2024 Step 6: Attach the Dyna-Lift post to the back center of the stand as shown. You will need to remove 4 nuts and bolts that you previously attached. This operation can be done with 1 person but we recommend 2. We recommend installing all nuts and bolts finger tight first.
- Page 7 Dyna-Lift Assembly Instructions HF Series June 2024 Step 7: Install the Dyna-Lift lift assist springs as shown. Your model will have 2 or 4 springs. Image below shows a model with 2 springs. If you have 4 (HF 2918 and HF 2927) position 2 springs on each side.
- Page 8 Dyna-Lift Assembly Instructions HF Series June 2024 Your stand and Dyna-Lift are now completely built and ready for the kiln to be placed on to it. Step 8: Position your stand where you want to place the kiln and place your kiln on the stand. Place the kiln so the back side of the kiln makes contact with the Dyna-Lift post brackets.
- Page 9 Dyna-Lift Assembly Instructions HF Series June 2024 Step 9: Models HF 2318, HF 2327 & HF 2927 are shipped with the lid support bar attached. Model HF 2918 does not ship with the lid support bar attached and must be attached now. Attach as shown.
- Page 10 Dyna-Lift Assembly Instructions HF Series June 2024 Step 10: Using the included allen wrench, remove one of the locking collars on the kiln lid handle. Slide the lid handle away from one of the lid handle brackets.
- Page 11 Dyna-Lift Assembly Instructions HF Series June 2024 Step 11: Bring the Dyna-Lift lifting arm down and insert the lid handle through the hole in the Dyna-Lift lifting arm link. This operation requires 2 people. The Dyna-Lift lift arm will be under spring tension so use care.

- Page 13 Dyna-Lift Assembly Instructions HF Series June 2024 Step 13: Center the Dyna-Lift lifting link on the handle and move the inner locking collars to the lifting link. Tighten the locking collars.
