Installing the shade
□ Remove the bottom bar (E) and the bottom cap (G) by
unscrewing the short screw (F) and the long screw (H).
□ Fit the shade (D) up through the frame of the fixture (A).
Place the bottom cap (G) onto the bottom of the frame of
the fixture (A).
□ Place the bottom bar (E) up against the bottom cap (G).
Align holes in the bottom bar (E) with the hole in the
bottom cap (D) and the hole in the bottom of the frame of
the fixture (A).
□ Thread the short screw (F) into the hole in the front of the
bottom bar (E) and into the bottom cap (G). Thread the long
screw (H) into the hole in the back of the bottom bar (E)
and into the frame of the fixture (A).

Installing the fixture outdoors and in
wet locations
□ The mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, and 1/4"
larger than the canopy on all sides. Any gaps between the
mounting surface and the canopy exceeding 3/16" should
be corrected as required.
□ Apply silicone caulking compound around the top and the
sides of the canopy where the back of the canopy meets
the wall surface to prevent water from seeping into the
junction box. Leave the bottom unsealed so moisture can
drain out.
