Location
This section assumes that you have determined the Cisco 1000 series lightweight access point locations
as described in
Refer to
instructions on how to power the Cisco 1000 series lightweight access points at each planned location.
If you are using AC extension cords, make sure you use duct tape to avoid creating trip hazards.

Contact Cisco WLAN Solution for the Cisco 1000 series lightweight access point mounting brackets
and recommended telescoping stand screws.
Use duct tape and/or cable ties to assemble the telescoping stands, Cisco 1000 series lightweight
access points, CAT-5 Ethernet cables, Ethernet power injectors, power inverter, external power
supply, battery packs, and/or extension cords as shown in the following figure.
