INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The closing of the circuit occurs by manually pressing the switch lever at the "I" symbol.
La chiusura del circuito avviene premendo manualmente la leva dell'interruttore in corrispondenza del simbolo "I".

The opening of the circuit occurs:
 manually, by pressing the switch lever at the 'O' symbol
 manually, by pressing the yellow test button (TEST)
 automatically, due to thermal tripping (overload), magnetic tripping (short circuit), or differential tripping (earth fault current).

Devices to be used in dry, non-dusty places, with a temperature range between -5°C and +40°C.
Apparecchi da utilizzare in luoghi asciutti e non polverosi a temperatura compresa tra -5 °C e + 40 °C.

Switches suitable for the protection of bipolar sockets with a ground contact for domestic and similar use,
installed in the same mounting box or in adjacent boxes. They can also be used to protect a single fixed
electrical appliance placed nearby (e.g. electric towel rails). These differential switches are not intended to
be installed in electrical panels and are not designed to provide protection for an entire circuit. These
switches offer additional protection in case of malfunction of connected devices, especially for portable
devices powered by a plug.
Interruttori adatti per la protezione di prese bipolari con contatto di terra per uso domestico e similare,
poste nella stessa scatola d'installazione o in scatole adiacenti. Possono anche essere utilizzati per
proteggere una singola apparecchiatura elettrica fissa posta in prossimità (ad esempio asciugamani
elettrici). Questi dispositivi differenziali non sono destinati a essere installati nei quadri elettrici e
non sono previsti per fornire la protezione di un intero circuito. Questi interruttori forniscono una
protezione aggiuntiva in caso di guasto degli apparecchi collegati, in particolare in caso di apparecchi
portatili alimentati a spina.

Protection against overloads and short circuits is provided by the device's magnetic-thermal component,
while user protection against contact voltages is ensured by the differential component of the device, with
a current rating of only 10mA/30mA.
La protezione contro il sovraccarico e contro il cortocircuito è assicurata dalla parte magnetotermica del
dispositivo; la protezione dell'utente contro le tensioni di contatto è fornita dalla parte differenziale del
dispositivo e per un valore di corrente di soli 10mA/30mA.

The differential sensitivity of 10mA/30mA reduces the risk of muscle tetany in the event of electric shock,
making it particularly suitable for use in environments with the elderly or children, especially in higher-risk
areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. The overcurrent protection also provides protection against burn
risks in the event of plugging in a short-circuited appliance.
La sensibilità differenziale di 10mA/30mA riduce il rischio di tetanizzazione in caso di scossa elettrica ed è
perciò particolarmente indicata in presenza di anziani o bambini, soprattutto in luoghi a maggior rischio
come i bagni e le cucine. La protezione da sovracorrente fornisce anche una protezione dai rischi di ustione
in caso di inserimento di un apparecchio utilizzatore a spina in corto circuito.


These switches are Type A residual current devices, meaning they operate correctly in the presence of
pulsed unidirectional residual currents. They are therefore also suitable for use with devices that have
electronic power supplies.
Questi interruttori sono interruttori differenziali di tipo A per quanto riguarda il comportamento in
presenza di correnti differenziali unidirezionali pulsanti. Sono perciò idonei a essere utilizzati anche in
presenza di apparecchi con alimentatori elettronici.
