    8-Zone LAN Expander ILAM Up to 6 UniBus boards in total may be connected to a host LAN Module. A suitable Inner Range Smart Power Supply must be connected to the host Module when UniBus boards are used. Refer to the relevant host Module & UniBus board Installation Manuals for full details.

    7. Do not use the cable shield as the 0V connection. Shields should be terminated to a protective earth or 0V at one end of the cable. 8. An Inner Range RS485 LAN/Reader Surge Diverter (see ‘Accessories List’) installed at one or more appropriate points on an RS485 network will provide additional system protection, particularly on long runs of LAN cabling and on multi-building installations.
