User's Manual for Thermo-Hygrometer PN
The digital Thermo-Hygrometer PN measures ambient
temperature and relative humidity. The meter has a:
- Min/Max function with reset capability
- Sleep / non-sleep mode. Auto-off after 20 minutes.
- Hold function
- Pocket-size with belt clip, pen-shaped to measure small areas.
Measuring:
1. The meter is turned on by pressing the ON/OFF button.
The meter will turn itself off after 20 minutes. Press the ON/
OFF button to turn the meter off at any time. See below, how
to put the meter in non-sleep mode.
Both values for temperature and relative humidity are dis-
played. The value for relative humidity is indicated by "%" and
temperature is indicated by "F".
2. Change the temperature value from degree Fahrenheit to Cel-
sius: Press the TEMP (⁰F/⁰C) button in the lower left section of
the instrument. The values for Fahrenheit and Celsius toggle
between eachother until the button is released. Release the
button when the desired unit is displayed. During that time no
measurements are taken.
Changing sleep mode to non-sleep mode - always on:
1. Unit will turn itself off after 20 minutes (sleep mode).
2. To override the "20-minutes-off" function into "on" at all times
(non-sleep mode), turn the meter off. Then, press and hold the
ON/OFF button and wait until the default 888 display appears.
Next, press the MIN/MAX button and release the ON/OFF
button. The letter "n" appears in the center of the display. Re-
lease the MIN / MAX button. The meter is now in non-sleep
mode, until the ON/OF button is pressed to turn the meter off.
Hold function:
To start the hold function press HOLD button until HLD appears
in the upper right corner of the display. No more measurements
are taken. Function helps to read display after measurements
have been taken in a location, where the display cannot be
read. To start measuring again, press the RESET button.
