- Page 2 Assembly order You will need to gain access to the ember bed of your fireplace. Refer to your fireplace manual for instructions for removing the front glass to access the ember bed. Please Note: This kit is designed to fit multiple fireplace sizes. Your log set might be more spread out for linear fireplaces or more compact for traditional fireplaces.
- Page 3 Assembly order 3. Select two 8" logs, and stack these on the ends of the 16" logs. 4. Select two more of the 8" logs in your kit, and lay them under the 8" logs. The inside end of the log will be towards you and the outside end will be towards the flame screen.
- Page 4 Assembly order 5. This step may not be needed for 52" & 54" fireplaces. If you are happy with your layout continue to next step. For 56" and 60" select the last 8" logs, and lay these on top of the 8" logs previously stacked, crossing directions where possible. 6.
- Page 5 Assembly order 7. Use the bag of wood chips and place a few chips and chunks in the gaps between the logs. We recommend using these sparingly for the best appearance and to maximize the light output from the ember bed. 52"-60", TruWood Premium Timber Kit, Large installation is complete.
