• Please be sure to read the instruction manual carefully.
• Following the instruction manual will prevent damage to the device and loss of your statutory rights
arising from defects due to incorrect use. We shall not be liable for any damage occurring as a result of not
following these instructions. Likewise, we take no responsibility for any incorrect readings and for any
consequences which may result from them.
• Please take particular note of the safety advice!
• Please keep this instruction manual for future reference.
2. Field of operation
• Temperature measuring of liquids, pastes and semi-solid materials for household, business and hobby, also
for food checks (according to HACCP).
3. For your safety
• The product is exclusively intended for the field of application described above. The product should only
be used as described within these instructions.
• Unauthorised repairs, modifications or changes to the product are prohibited.
• This product is not to be used for medical purpose or for public information.
Caution! Risk of Injury:
• Keep this instrument and the battery out of reach of children.
• Be careful by handling with the probe. If you are not using the instrument, please always use the
protective cap on the probe.
• Batteries must not be thrown into the fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Batteries can be fatal if swallowed. If battery has been swallowed, get medical assistance immediately.
• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent
damage caused by a leaking battery.
• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and glasses when handling leaked batteries.
Important information on product safety!
• Do not place the unit near extreme temperatures, vibration or shock.
• Only the probe is heat resistant until 250°C.
• The thermometer casing material can withstands temperatures up to 90°C.
• Never burn the probe directly over fire.
• Always keep the LCD and electronic module away from extreme/direct heat or cool. Always leave 1" (2.5cm) distance
between the electronic module and the measuring object along the probe.
• Always use probe disinfectant wipes for hygienic cleaning.
• Not suitable for dishwasher and induction cooking.
4. Power On / Off
• Press the [ON-OFF] button to turn on.
5. MAX/MIN Function
• Press the [MAX/MIN] button for the MAX reading
• Press the button again for the MIN reading.
• Press the third time to back to normal reading.
• To reset the MAX, press the MAX/MIN button, MAX is displayed. Press and hold MAX/MIN button until "----" is
displayed.
• To reset the MIN, press the MAX/MIN button twice, MIN is displayed. Press and hold MAX/MIN button until "----" is
displayed.
Note: Reading will return back to normal reading within 10 seconds when there is no valid operation detected after the
MAX and MIN value displayed
6. Unit Change °C/°F
• Press [°C / °F] button to change the temperature unit.

7. AUTO POWER OFF Function
• To turn off the auto power off function, press and hold the [MAX/MIN] button approximately 5 seconds and
symbol [
• To turn on the auto power off function, press and hold the [MAX/MIN] button approximately 5 seconds or till
the symbol [
• When the instrument is not in use, it will automatically switch off after approx. 10 minutes with the auto power
off function is turning on.
• Put the protective cap over the probe.
8. Self-Calibration Function
• It is recommended to recalibrate the thermometer before first use according to the ICE-WATER METHOD.
To calibrate, insert the probe into a glass full of crashed ice and fill with distilled water to 1/2" below ice. Ice should
not float. Immerse the thermometer stem into the mixture, avoiding contact with the sides of bottom of the glass.
Once the thermometer reading is stable, press and hold the [CAL] button to automatically correct the temperature
to 0°C, when the reading is between -1°C and +1°C. If the temperature is not between -1°C and +1°C, an
error [ERR] will show on the display.
**Note: Reading offset only apply when the reading of the ice water is between
9. Low Battery Detection
• Battery symbol will be displayed when the battery voltage is below 2.5V.
• Change the battery when the display become dim.
• Open the battery cover on the backside of the instrument, insert a new battery and close the cover.
• When replacing the battery, ensure the seal ring and screw are tighten fully.
