• Please be sure to read the instruction manual carefully.

be liable for any damage occurring as a resu lt of not following these instructions.
Likewise, we take no responsibility for any incorrect readings and for any
consequences which may result from them.

2. Field of operation
• Temperature measuring of liquids, pastes and semi-solid materials for
household, business and hobby, also for food checks (according to HACCP).
3. For your safety
• The product is exclusively intended for the field of application described above. The product should only
be used as described within these instructions.
• Unauthorised repairs, modifications or changes to the product are prohibited.
• This product is not to be used for medical purpose or for public information, it is only intended for home
use.
Caution! Risk of Injury:
• Keep this instrument and the battery out of reach of children.
• Be careful by handling with the probe. If you are not using the instrument, please always use the
protective cap on the probe.
• Batteries must not be thrown into the fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Batteries can be fatal if swallowed. If battery has been swallowed, get medical assistance immediately.
• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent
damage caused by a leaking battery.
• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and glasses when handling leaked batteries.
Important information on product safety!
• Do not place the unit near extreme temperatures, vibration or shock.
• Only the probe is heat resistant until 250°C.
• Never burn the probe directly over fire.
• Do not immerse the display unit into water. Water can penetrate and cause malfunction.
Protect from moisture. Not suitable for dishwasher.
4. Power On / Off
• Press the [ON-OFF] button to turn on.
5. HOLD Function
• Press [HOLD] button once and the °C / °F icon will be flashing to retain display reading.
• Press the button again to release the hold function.
6. MAX/MIN Function
• Press the [MAX/MIN] button for the MAX reading
• Press the button again for the MIN reading.
• Press the third time to back to normal reading.
• To reset the memory, turn off the thermometer.
7. Switch-OFF Function
• To turn off, press and hold for approximately 3 seconds to turn off.
• When the instrument is not in use, it will automatically switch off after approx. 10 minutes.
• Put the protective cap over the probe.
8. Unit Change °C/°F
• Press and hold [°C / °F] button for 3 seconds to change the temperature unit.
9. Care and maintenance
• Clean the instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• Remove the battery if you do not use the product for a lengthy period.
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.
• Please turn off the thermometer when the display is abnormal as the setting will be reset to ex-factory setting
10. Battery replacement
• For a long battery life, always turn off the instrument when not in use.
• Change the battery when the display become dim.
• Open the battery cover on the backside of the instrument, insert a new button cell LR44 and
close the cover.
• When replacing the battery, ensure the seal ring and screw are tighten fully.
