Product Description
This document describes the hardware installation procedures for the
TS-Dyyy2X Transmitter Series duct temperature transmitters.
These duct temperature transmitters are single-point rigid duct
temperature transmitters that
encapsulated in 6.00 mm (0.236") OD, 304 series stainless steel probe
and are available in various lengths.
All probes provide excellent heat transfer, fast response and resistance
to moisture penetration. They are available with a variety of
enclosures.
Mounting tabs are provided for easy installation directly to the duct.
The enclosure has a pre-formed ½" NPT knockout for conduit
connections, and an M16 adapter and cable gland in Europe. The
probes are fully potted to protect the sensing element against moisture
migration.

General Installation Requirements
For proper installation and subsequent operation of each device, pay
special attention to the following recommendations:

Upon unpacking the product, inspect the contents of the carton for
shipping damages. Do not install damaged device.

Avoid areas where corroding, deteriorating or explosive vapors,
fumes or gases may be present.

Ensure that all equipment is installed according to local, regional,
and national regulations.
Personal injury or loss of life may occur if you do not follow a
procedure as specified.
Equipment damage or loss of data may occur if you do not
follow a procedure as specified.
Take reasonable precautions to prevent electrostatic
discharges to the controller when installing, servicing or
operating the controller. Discharge accumulated static
electricity by touching a grounded object before manipulating
the controller.
