3. LineIn Record Mode(Recording Using a Stereo Cable)
Linein Rec mode allows you to record sounds coming from other audio devices to iAUDIO by connecting
separately sold stereo cable to the Line In terminal of Subpack or cradle which have to be separately
purchased.
1. Connect the subpack (cradle) to iAUDIO's connector.
2. Connect the headphone terminal of the CDP to Line-In terminal of iAUDIO with the stereo cable.
3. Turn the product ON and move to Line-In Record mode.
4. After pressing the CDP's play button, recording will start when you press the REC button of iAUDIO.
5. Pressing the "REC" button again will stop recording.
6. To listen to the recorded files, press the "PLAY" button after the earphone is connected.
- iAUDIO M5 has a built-in hard disk, therefore it may make noise when recording, but it is not because there is
something wrong with the product.
- To playback recorded files using Navigator, you may run the Navigator in Digital Music mode.
- If you were running Voice Record before turning off the product, it will resume in Voice Record mode when the power is turned
on again.
- Recording consumes more battery power than usual. Be sure to fully charge the battery before recording.
- The quality and capacity of the recording depends on the recording quality setup in addition to the reception.
- Maximum capacity for a single recording is 268MB. A new file will be created and start recording if the capacity is exceeded.
- If there is less than 128MB space available on the hard disk, the recording will not start. If the available space becomes less than
128MB during recording, the recording will end.
- Up to 999 files can be recorded.
