- Page 2 Log Placement Instructions Model: AVFL42(N/P)TSC WARNING: Turn off fireplace and allow to cool complete- ly before beginning installation. Kit Contents: • Two (2) ceramic fiber driftwood logs • Four (4) log support pin brackets • Eight (8) #8 bracket mounting screws NOTE — Do not handle logs with your bare hands. Always wear gloves to prevent skin irritation from ceramic fibers. After handling the logs, wash your hands with soap and water to remove any traces of fibers. NOTE: Prior to installing the log set, you must first install the pin brackets on the burner. The air deflection glass and fireglass should only be installed after the pin brackets are in place. - Page 3 Log Placement Instructions 1. Mount the four log support pin brackets using mounting holes and screws provided in locations indicated in Figure 2. Note that the front log can be mounted in two different positions. The pin brackets can be moved to accommodate the preferred log placement. 2. Place the large rear log (#1) by aligning the holes in the bottom of the log with the two pins at the back of the burner. Figure 3. 3.
