1 - DESCRIPTION :
This immersion heater consists of:
-
3 or 6 removable and replaceable single tubes (depending on the models), each inserted in a
thermometer well of stainless steel Z3 CND 17-12-02, pickled and passivated or without
treatment, welded to an attaching interface comprising flange, of steel or stainless steel.
-
a fitted case, IP 55 protected of 6/6 polyamide, adjustable, insensitive to mechanical impact
and chemical aggression, with a sealing gland Iso 25 and a connection terminal block.
Equipment design for heating fluids up to 110°C and 15 bar.
2 - DESCRIPTION AND TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS :
Refer to our manual concerning "Flange immersion heaters, with removable resistors type 2279" and the
corresponding drawing (in the case of special production).
3 - ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION :
3 - 1 - BEFORE INSTALLATION :
Check that:
-
The materials forming the immersion heater and its load (W/cm2) are truly compatible with the
fluids to be heated, depending upon operation conditions, and that there is no risk of galvanic
couple.
-
The installation pressure does not exceed 15 bar.
-
Assembly is designed in such a way that the heated length (LC) is always immersed when it is
energized. Vertical assemblies (in particular at the top) or oblique assemblies are difficult. It is
preferable to use an assembly or a device permitting the automatic degassing of any gas
pockets.
-
When assembly is to a tap, the unheated length must be slightly longer than the length of the
tapping sleeve.
-
The seal is in place and compatible with the heated product at the considered operating
temperature.
-
The power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage for which the immersion heater was
designed 230 (1P or 3P) / 400 V (1P or 3P) or others according to standardized models).
